Hello, I’m Alana, the owner and lead floral designer at Flowers by Alana. Having a deep appreciation for beauty, both in the natural world and through creative art, enhancing a space with beautiful flowers is my passion and gift to the world.
Romantic and garden-inspired is my favorite floral design style, but my floral skills are extremely versatile and can design in any floral style. With over 20 years of experience in the floral industry, I combine my professional knowledge, skills, and expertise with your wedding vision and bring it to life with gorgeous flowers!
I am proud to share that Flowers by Alana was recently nominated as a finalist for Best Portland Florist in Oregon Wedding Day (formerly Oregon Bride) magazine’s Best of 2023! Portland wedding florist Flowers by Alana strives to support local flower farmers and sources organic and ecologically friendly flowers as much as possible. We strive to find environmentally conscious design methods that minimize petrochemicals and waste. Flowers by Alana is also committed to standing for love in all forms with absolutely no judgement or prejudice. We celebrate, embrace and am honored to provide wedding flowers for all types of marriages, including interracial and LGBTQ weddings.
Alana lives near Portland with her two children, her sweet kitty, and her new rescue puppy, Scooby! When not growing her wedding business or playing with flowers, she enjoys many outdoor activities the beautiful Pacific Northwest offers, like hiking, camping, and kayaking. She also loves networking and supporting other local small businesses. We have an amazing curated list of our favorite wedding vendors that we love to share with our clients.
