Porland wedding florist Flowers by Alana designed stunning florals for a rustic woodsy themed rose gold wedding at Summit Grove Lodge, a woodsy forest venue in Ridgefield, WA just north of Portland, OR. The color palette was rose gold, mauve, ivory, blush, and sage green, which blended perfectly and elegantly with the rustic wooden lodge beams and lush green forest surroundings of the woodsy venue, and the small pieces of metallic rose gold accents throughout the wedding decor was the perfect touch.
Photographs were taken by the amazingly talented adventure wedding and elopement photographer Baylee Dennis, who did an incredible job capturing everything beautifully. Follow her instagram and you’ll be swooning for days!
Rosycakes Bakery did a beautiful job with the cake and desserts. The popular rustic look of the “naked” cake pairs so well with wooden rounds and the other wooden and forested accents of this rustic elegant wedding. I added minimal sprigs of seeded eucalyptus and italian ruscus to the wedding cake for just the right amount of romantic, rustic and natural charm. There’s something about naked cakes that I just can’t get enough of, and I’m so glad they are still trending at rustic weddings! We also added rustic elegant and simple arrangements of babies breath and full bloom roses in rose gold painted mason jars for some floral touches to the dessert table.
The rose gold and blush colors of the palette were brought into the bride’s gorgeous bridal bouquet with dusty rose colored “cafe latte” garden roses, blush David Austin garden roses called “Keira,” and blush colored ranunculus with pops of white “Bride to Be” dahlias. The bridesmaid bouquets remained cream, white, and ivory in Vendela roses, white stock flowers, and white dahlias. Lush sage-colored silver dollar and seeded eucalyptus and italian ruscus gave the bridal party florals the lush romantic feel of the wedding’s forest theme. Look how well the bridesmaid gowns matched the roses in Jessica’s gorgeous rose gold wedding bouquet!
The woodsy wedding venue Summit Grove Lodge is located in a thick forest not far off of interstate-5 in Ridgefield, Washington. Five acres of beautiful, tranquil forest surround the stunning wooden lodge and lends itself to gorgeous photographic opportunities in its rustic and scenic beauty. The outdoor portion of the venue is cleanly landscaped in stone, ferns, manicured lawn, and strongly flanked by a wooden gazebo structure which staged the outdoor wedding perfectly. I had fun installing a simple greenery installation suspended from the gazebo entrance for this rustic woodsy rose gold wedding!
The wedding stationery was designed and printed by minted for the guest table numbers and the wedding invitations. The signage was created by Painted Lilium. I personally LOVE the trend of telling your guests your preference for an unplugged ceremony with a custom wooden sign in gorgeous calligraphy! Each table number was displayed within a rustic rose gold wedding table centerpiece of babies breath, full bloomed vendela roses, and a little seeded eucalyptus
The stunning bridal gown and the bridesmaids dresses were from Allure Bridals, the men’s tuxedos was from The Black Tux, the talented Rachel Petey videographed the event, and hair and make up were done by the talented LUX Artistry Collective, based out of SW Washington.
I’d like to thank my cousin Elizabeth for referring my wedding flower company to her friends Jessica and Tyler. I loved connecting with this beautiful couple, learning their love story, and helping them achieve their dream wedding vision with gorgeous flowers!
