Sunny and beautiful, it was a truly perfect late October day for a rustic romantic autumn wedding. Kristina and Ashton were married last fall at the Rock Creek Country Club in Portland, Oregon. Their dream wedding vision was an autumn wedding with rustic and romantic, whimsical vibes in the warm autumn palette of burnt orange, champagne, soft peach, creams, and greenery. Portland wedding florist Flowers by Alana was absolutely honored for the opportunity to bring Kristina and Ashton’s beautiful wedding vision to life with gorgeous flowers. Photos of Kristina and Ashton’s special day were captured by the talented Portland wedding photographer Michelle Allan Photography.

The Rock Creek Country Club is located northwest of the city center in Portland, Oregon, and can accommodate weddings and special events with up to 500 guests. The beautiful country club is both an established golf course and a wedding venue that offers a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces for couples to choose from for their ceremony and reception. The vast and picturesque golf course grounds, well-manicured evergreen landscaping, elegant indoor banquet halls, and a large outdoor wedding tent make it an attractive wedding venue to engaged couples in the Portland area.

Kristina and Ashton were married on the Rock Creek Country Club ceremony lawn that has a beautiful white wood four-post lattice arbor, concrete slab altar, and lush and beautiful evergreen landscaping. Portland wedding florist Flowers by Alana draped the arbor in white chiffon fabric and designed a floral and greenery altar installation on the top left corner, using a variety of romantic floral textures and foliage in the warm autumn palette of burnt orange, creams, peaches, champagne, and lush greenery.

Kristina’s bridesmaids wore slightly different styles of floor-length, sleeveless bridesmaid dresses from Azazie in cinnamon and rust. To contrast the dark orange gowns, Flowers by Alana intentionally designed rustic romantic hand-tied bridesmaid bouquets in the lighter, neutral tones of the palette ~ cream, champagne, and sage, with accents of burnt orange and peach. The bridesmaids’ rustic romantic autumn wedding bouquets were designed in hydrangea, specialty roses, garden roses, spray roses, ranunculus, and silver dollar eucalyptus, and wrapped in a soft peach ribbon.

Our gorgeous bride Kristina wore a romantic mermaid style sleeveless bridal gown with a delicate floral lace overlay from Portland bridal shop Charlottes Weddings. For Kristina’s rustic romantic autumn bridal bouquet, Portland wedding florist Flowers by Alana incorporated more of the rich darker tones of burnt orange, rust, and peach, balanced with the lighter tones of champagne and cream. Kristina’s bridal bouquet also differed than those of her ‘maids because it included fall chrysanthemums, nandina, apricot cosmos, and Italian ruscus, in addition the garden roses, specialty roses, and ranunculus of her bridesmaids’ bouquets.

Ashton and his groomsmen wore very dark navy suits from Macy’s, brown leather dress shoes, and white button up shirts. Ashton donned a champagne colored neck tie, with his groomsmen in rust colored bow ties. On each suit jacket, Flowers by Alana pinned on a boutonniere matching the lighter tones of the bridal palette of cream, peach and champagne florals and greenery accents. The entire bridal party looked elegant and sharp for Kristina and Ashton’s beautiful rustic romantic autumn wedding!

Portland wedding florist Flowers by Alana designed Kristina and Ashton’s wedding flowers in a variety of romantic floral textures and foliage to complete the rustic romantic autumn wedding vibe in the chosen bridal palette. For burnt orange and rust tones, we selected coffee break roses and large “China” mums in Chiquita brown. Quicksand roses were perfect additions for the touch of champagne. “Juliet” garden roses and peach ranunculus brought soft peach tones to the color story, while white hydrangea and “white majolica” spray roses were included for cream tones. We used fall colored nandina, silver dollar eucalyptus, and Italian ruscus for the greenery and autumn foliage.

Kristina and Ashton’s wedding reception was held in the large white reception tent at the Rock Creek Country Club. Some of the tent walls were gathered and tied open, while some were closed but had clear vinyl windows, bringing both fresh air and beautiful bright natural light within the event space. Simple and elegant LED candle chandeliers were suspended from the beautiful white fabric ceiling of the tent. Round guest tables were draped in white linen and donned with white plates, champagne-colored lined napkins, and elegant gold chairs. In the center of each guest table was a mirror, a cluster of mercury glass candle votives and loose silver dollar eucalyptus for a simple and rustic romantic touch. Kristina and Ashton’s sweetheart table was draped with a long, lush eucalyptus greenery garland with accents of specialty roses in the warm autumn palette of burnt orange, cream, champagne, and peach. Their reception decor was clean and simple, with elegant touches to create a rustic romantic autumn wedding vibe.
